Headshots

Here’s what you can expect from a headshot session. I prefer to shoot outside in natural light, or other setting with good natural light. I look for neutral backgrounds and try and find the most flattering light. I will usually try a few different locations within the same locale. I tend to shoot with the background out of focus to draw attention to the subject, and will shoot mostly vertical format, unless for design purposes you also need images in a horizontal format. Sessions usually take 20 to 25 minutes. After the session is complete, I will remove any unusable photos and you can expect an edit of your best photos sent via email and a link to a digital contact sheet within 24 hours. This email will also include instructions on how to make your selects and payment info. Once you make your selections and payment is confirmed, I will crop and correct the image(s) and send final lo res and hi res versions back via a Dropbox link in both color and black/white within 48 hours from payment confirmation. 

Events

I will talk to you prior to the event about what kind of event photography you are looking for, timing and length, any unique part of the ceremony or party that you want to make sure is covered, set ups (group shots), as well as any other specific needs you may have. Photos will then be delivered via a Dropbox link within 48 hours of payment confirmation.

Real Estate

Here’s what you can expect from a real estate house shoot. I will meet you (or an agent on your team) at the shoot location. Depending on the time of day—and the type of light for that time of day—I will either start outside or inside. I like to do a quick walkthrough to make sure all the lights are on and any window coverings are opened. This gives you a chance to point out any unique features of the house and to make sure we take note of any shots that may not seem obvious. For example, sometimes an agent wants a “welcome home” type shot looking in through the front door. To cover a house adequately, I need to shoot for 1-2 hours. I will then process the images and send a link to the final set of images via Dropbox link in both hi res and lo res folders within 24 hours.
